1. The Prado

The first place on our list of places to visit in Madrid is The Prado. It is an essential museum that holds art from the Renaissance period. The different items of art that are present here are all masterpieces. The Prado is well known all over the world and many people come here just to visit this museum once in their life.

Some must see works here are Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights and David with Head of Goliath by Caravaggio. The artist with most works hanging at the museum is the Spanish Romantic Goy.

2. Retiro Park
